Question
what is the crankcase oil capacity?  an aftermarket manual i have says 1.5 litre.   the dipstick reads full (between the 2 marks) at 1.0 litres.  Thanks

Frank, the 1.5 liters will take it to the high mark on the dipstick.  I normally run my engines to the high side of the level.  Make sure you are alway checking the oil with the bike on the center stand or vertical.  Also you don't screw in the dipstick just set it in the crankcase hole and pull it out to read it.
