Motorcycle Repair: sport bike still runs hot., radiator system, fan switch

Hello. my sport bike still runs hot after I flushed the coolant and radiator system.. I checked the water pump and thermostat and they seemed fin. what else could cause it to stay at a very high temp. its fine when ur riding along, but in stop and go traffic it get so high its scary. please help. thanks.

Antony, it sounds like the fan switch isn't turning the cooling fan on.  I'm not sure what model and year we're talking about so I can't be of much more help.  Try locating the fan switch and wiring a manual switch in parallel to the coolant temp switch.  That way if it gets hot, you can switch the fan on which should cool things down.  This was a pretty common problem on the early 80's hondas.
