Motorcycle Repair: honda 750,high mileage, high mileage, honda 750

i am thinking of buyiny a 1982 shadow 750 great bike but it has 60000 miles ,is this  high mileage,can get it for around 1300,is this a good buy,thanks charlie

These are always tough calls.  If the bike runs well, no strange engine noises, and the engine oil is clean, I would look at the rest of the bike such as brakes, bearings etc.  The price does not sound unreasonable for a nicely running bike.  If it is well looked after it should give you many years of service.  Good luck,  Jan
