Motorcycle Repair: 1973 Hond CB350, air fuel ratio, cl350

Question
I have a 73 CL350 . I had it out last weekend and road it around without any problems.  I then replaced on on the exhausts. (header and muffler) because the someone removed the baffle. It now seems that I have a serious lack of power. The engine starts and idles fine, and will rev to red line when in neutral. However when it is in gear, it will not rev past 4-5k.

Any thoughts?

Answer
Andy, the air fuel ratio is off, the muffler you replaced had a different back pressure than the one you installed.  It could be either too rich or too lean depending on which unit had the most restriction.  You will need to figure out if it's running rich or lean and you can do that by applying a little choke when you are accelerating. If it runs better, it too lean.  If worst, too rich.  You will then have to increase or decrease the main jet size to make it richer or leaner.
