Motorcycle Repair: honda ignition, honda ignition, handle bar

will it be easier to remove the ignition on a Honda 900CM if I remove the head light first? I asked a similar question a while back, but I did not get an answer. Please advice. Thank you in advance. The previous expert could not give me an answer. I know you can help.

Sergio, I'm not sure which year we're talking about but if it's an early eighties vintage, you don't have to take the head light off.  If you take the top handle bar cover off, you should see the two bolts that hold the switch to the top fork bridge.
