Motorcycle Repair: stuck brake piston, brake fluid, brake lever

Question
What's the best way to remove a stuck front brake piston on a '75 750? I've got it off and soaking in JB80. Have rapped it a few times but...

Answer
Greg, those can be a bugger to get out.  I use compressed air to pressurize the bore.  Make sure you have a board or something else to stop the piston when it pops out.  You can get really hurt if it pops out and hits you in the face or something.  When it pops it will sound like a shotgun going off and come flying out if you don't have something there to catch it.

If compressed air won't drive it out, you can fill it back up with brake fluid bleed the system and use the brake lever to push it out.
