Motorcycle Repair: Horn, honda cbx, yamaha virago

I have a 1994 yamaha virago I can't get the horn to work.Its getting fire to the horns and I cleaned them also. Then I took the switch apart off the handle bars an cleaned them it looks ok. Do you have any suggestions.

This is also NOT a Honda CBX...  However pretty general issue.  If you are getting voltage to the horns when you press the button, then check if the other side is connected to ground; you may need to get a multimeter to check this.  Sounds like the horn itself is faulty, try another (preferably tested good) horn to double-check.
