Motorcycle Repair: 1967 305 scrambler, wiring connections, fuel tank

It was running, then my brother stripped it down and painted it. When he put it back together, he was unsure about the wiring connections and now it has no fire on either plug? What should I do next? Thanks

Brian, you need to go back through the head light connections and the connections under the fuel tank.  All of the wires are color coded and if you connect them to the right colors, it should work. If all that looks okay  and if you're brother painted the frame, he probably didn't scrape the paint off under the coils.  The coils ground through the coil mount to the frame.  If the coils aren't grounded, they won't fire.
