Motorcycle Repair: 2005 1200custom, o rings, air cleaner

Question
My bike runs fine till it gets up to normal operating temperature. Then it bogs down when I take off in first gear. It runs fine once I get going. It's only when I take off. I replaced the two o-rings between the carb and the heads. Someone told me it could be the module for the carb ? Supposedly the module is really expensive and I don't want to replace it and find out later that wasn't the problem. What do you think. Billy G. from upstate NY

Answer
I think their talking about the ignition module. Generally if thats going bad the bike will start and run as it always did but once it gets warm the bike will stall and won't start until the motor cools off. Did you make any equipment changes just before this started to happen like change your pipes or air cleaner?
