Motorcycle Repair: clutch cable, harley service, clutch cable

QUESTION: I need a picture or detailed instruction on the routing of
the clutch cable from the handle bars to the clutch housing
and also how the cable attaches inside the transmission

Answer
In order the install a clutch cable you first have to remove the derby cover on the primary cover. Then you remove the primary cover and install the cable in the swivel. Reinstall the primary and route the cable tot he clutch lever up the side of the frame and beside the forks. Adjust the clutch and then adjust the lever.
I dont have anyway to send pics. Your best source would be a harley service manual
