Motorcycle Repair: leekin mass amounts of oil after replacing all my push rods, head bolts, push rods


Question
after replacing push rods on my 95 dyna conv I have a serious oil leek that I cannot seem to find the source I had to let the bike sit for 2 months without starting the bike and at first start I took it for a test ride and noticed very small leek then I checked the rods to see if they were loose and they were tightend again and did another test ride 1 mile and saw that the entire right side of bike and me were completly caked with oil rode home and degreesed to attempt finding source thought it was either the rods or the head bolts was neither cant find source only sprays oil when gears are engaged tried i

Answer
there could be a dozen places for a leak. Clean the bike and let it dry. Spray the motor with deoderant that has baby powder in it and start the bike. Where there is a leak the powder will turn black. Try looking when the bike is sitting still. If no leak then go for a very short ride, like a 100 yards,  and then check it. You should be able to find the leak
