Motorcycle Repair: Front Fork Leak, fork seal, whick

I have a 1995 FLHTC and am not able to keep air pressure in the front fork system.   I am not sure where the leak is. I saw some oil by the axel,  but that was not it.  Is there a way to diagnose where the leak is??  Maybe with dye??

there are only a few places for it to leak. One is the bolt going into the bottom end of the fork, whick holds the forks together. The other is the fork seal, where the upper and lower forks go together and the top cap for the forks, where there is a o-ring. If you dont have oil running down the forks  and you have oil at the axle then its the bolt in the bottom end.
