Question
i seem to be having alot of trouble with adjusting the clutch on my 1974 k4 it had barnett racing springs wchich made it impossible to operate replaced them with oem springs but cant seem to figure out how to adjust it correctly my bike is the cb 750 honda four thanks

Answer
Karl, clutch adjusting is done by loosening all the cable adjusters first, then making the clutch adjustment on the lifter arm under the chrome cover. Once you get that in range, then you can fine tune the cable slack with the bottom cable adjustment, then fine tune at the handlebar lever.

If your bike had Barnett springs, it might have had Barnett clutch plates, too. They had a reputation for being somewhat harsh in street usage, in the past. You might need to replace the friction plate and take a good look at the steel plates to see if they are all nice and flat. Warped steel plates will cause all kinds of headaches with clutch performance.
