Motorcycle Repair: Keith Black pistons, keith black pistons, 883 sportster

I am putting a 1200 kit in my 98 883 sportster, I stopped at my machinist and he said Keith Black pistons don't hold up and not to use them, he said use wisco. I already ordered the Keith Black ones and they won't take them back. What is your opinion? Jeff

Keith Black pistons are good pistons and should hold up quit well as long as the cylinders are honed to the correct specs and the breakin of the pistons are done correctly.
Pistons, like many other products, are sometimes a personnel preference.
