QUESTION: how do u get the ingniton switch off,so i can get the plastic cover off  under it

QUESTION: 1997 electra glide classic

Answer
Put the key in and unlock. With the key still in turn the knob to access. There is a small release button at bottom, left side. Depress it with a small screwdrive and while pushing key down, turn 60 degrees in a counter-clock wise direction. then you can lift and remove the knob. You should be able to get to the plastic cover then
