Motorcycle Repair: 1976 honda 550f, honda, shipping

I am working on a 76' 550 FOUR and come to find out the engine is locked up. I am wondering if it would be any easier to swap out the engine instead of breaking it down. And if so, where could i find a engine that would fit my frame.

Nathan, if you can find a good engine it's a lot less work to swap an engine rather than rebuilding it.  You save all of the labor and cost associated with the rebuild.  I can't direct you where to find a good one since, you won't want to pay for shipping.
