Motorcycle Repair: 1980 cb750, little snag, carb settings

Question
I have been trying to remove the baffles on my cb750 exhaust and I have run into a little snag. I have drilled out the rivets but getting the baffles out has been difficult. Any tips?

Answer
Sorry Mitch, I know it a little late, but I wouldn't recommend you take them out.  If you do, you'll have to rejet the carbs because the engine will run too lean if you don't. It won't make the bike any faster because the intake and exhaust system are balanced to allow the right air flow for the carb settings.  If you modify the intake air system to get more air flow through it and the exhaust, you may get a couple more hp but nothing you'll feel in the seat of you pants and you run the risk of burning a hole in your piston unless you properly rejet the carbs.
