Motorcycle Repair: battery tender, battery tender, negative terminal

Hello. I have a 2008 883L and I was wondering if my bike comes with the pigtail to connect a battery tender?  Or do I have to attach a pigtail myself by taking off the seat to reach the Negative terminal and connect the "ring" connectors to the negative and positive terminals for future 'easy access' to use a battery tender?

It doesnt come with one. You would need to install it. Just connect the wires to the battery and have the pigtail sticking out somewhere you can get to it to plug it in. You have to remove the seat to get to the battery
