Motorcycle Repair: replacing forks, head bolt, fork oil

mike i would like to install chrome lower forks on my 07
fatboy how do i go about it?  thanks Mike L.

Answer
First, you need to jack up the bike so the forks are off the ground. remove the fender and brake caliber and wheel. On the side of the fork there is a small screw to drain the fork oil. remove the top nut. At the bottom of the fork, inside, there is a allen head bolt. remove it and the lower leg will slide off. Install the new seal in the lower leg and install in reverse. Add the fork oil through the top nut.
