Motorcycle Repair: Flooding, dirt bike, rust

my dirt bike started to pour gas out off a hose hanging from the carb and then eventually bogged out and would not start.I also noticed that it was a little wet around the exhaust.I drained the gas out of carb and let it sit for a while and eventually got it running again but it soon happened again.Any ideas is appresiated.Thanks

Ian, I'm not sure what model or year bike we're talking about but the problem is that the needle and seat in the carb that controls the float level is not shutting the fuel off.  So it's overflowing.  This could be cause by a gummed up carb or dirt or rust coming from the tank.
