Motorcycle Repair: Oil Light problem;, oil pressure guage, pressure gage

QUESTION: I have a 1999 Ultra Classic fuel enjected while traveling the oil light comes on, goes out, comes back on etc however the oil pressure guage  shows I have good oil pressure.  What can I do to fix this problem. is there a module or diode I can check if so where can I find it, can you e mail me a wiring diagram.

ANSWER: If you have good oil pressure, and I would check with a manual pressure gage, then you probably have a bad sending unit for the light.
I dont have anyway to send a wiring diagram. You can find one in a service manual that you can get from a dealer

QUESTION: Is there  seperate sending units, like one for the light and one for the guage which seems to be what you advised me.
Please advise and if so where do I find them.

there is one sending unit for your bike. it is on the right side of the motor. Should be a single wire.
I would make sure you have good power to the light as well, before changing the sending unit. the sending unit acts as the ground for the light.
