Motorcycle Repair: installing a clutch cable, clutch cable, heritage softtail

I am a woman and I have been riding for 4 years now.  I have a heritage softtail classic.  The clutch cable broke the other day and I have another cable.  I am going to attempt to install it.  How hard is it?  I have the book and it looks easy so wish me luck.

Its  not that tough at all. You will have to remove the exhaust if the pipes cover the trans cover. Drain the trans. remove cover and remove the old cable and install the new one. Dont forget the o-ring on the cable where is screws into the cover. Install the new cable into the lever and adjust so you have 1/8 inch play in the lever.
