Motorcycle Repair: fork brace, fork tubes, fork brace

HEY MIKE HOWS IT GOIN?.....IM THINKIN ABOUT PUTTING A SCREAMIN EAGLE FORK BRACE ON MY XLCH.....WHAT PURPOSE DOES IT SERVE AND WHAT IS THE PROPER POSITION TO INSTALL THE BRACE?....THANKS AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK....SAM

Answer
The fork brace stiffens the forks and keeps them from twisting under a load. You install then about half way up on the upper fork tubes. Make sure you put them high enough that they dont hit when you bottom the forks out
