Motorcycle Repair: 73 Shovel kick start to electric start conversion, conversion kit, best bet

I have '73 shovelhead converted to 93CI (S&S) with alternator/regulator (no points to mess with) and kick start in an aftermarket rigid frame.  With that size motor, I want to switch to electric or kick/electric starter.  I understand all wiring so I can do that myself.  Can you explain what I need to do to convert the bike to electric start?

Your best bet is to get a conversion kit. It will have the parts you need, except for the battery and the ring gear on the clutch if you dont have one. You can look at them online in their catalog at V-twin Manufacturing
