Motorcycle Repair: spring, honda parts, ball bearing


Question
I was giving my sons chinese 110 atv a oil change when i took out the wrong bolt to drain oil.The bolt i took out had a spring in it witch rolled in driveway drain and i cant get it.The problem is i dont know what it is or called to replace it.It is a loncin motor that i told was a spinoff of a Honda moter can you help and tell me what it is Thanks

Ian, I was searching the Honda parts manual for that spring but didn't find it.  I recall that spring but I'm not sure anymore what it was for.  It was about 2.5 inches long and about 1/4-3/8 in diameter.  

I'm thinking the spring was the neutral detent spring.  It would have held the shift drum in the neutral position.  There should have been a spring and a steel ball bearing in that bore if I'm right.
