Motorcycle Repair: Winterizing Bike for Storage, gas tank, petcock

Question
When preparing to store a motorcycle for the cold winter months around the great lakes, which is the better thing(s) to do: Run the gas tank and reserve empty til the bike stalls, or (2) Add stablizer to a full gas tank, or (3) leave a little of the gas in the tank and add a can of dry gas (antifreeze).... or what combination of the above?  Thanks.  In our location, far from the lakes, we rarely drop below freezing, except for a week in February where we get single digits (but the bike will be in a relatively unheated garage).
Thank you.

Answer
Fill the tank all the way. Start the bike, shut the petcock off and let it run until it runs out of gas. You can add stablizer to the gas, but personnally I like to drain the gas when riding season starts and put in fresh gas
Good luck and happy riding
