Motorcycle Repair: NO START AND NO HEADLIGHT, honda shadow 750, starter button

HI,
 I HAVE A 2006 HONDA SHADOW 750.TODAY I WENT TO START MY BIKE AND IT WOULD NOT TURN OVER.I ALSO NOTICED THE HEADLAMP WAS NOT ON WHEN IGNITION TURNED ON.ALL OTHER LAMPS,ACES.,HORN,TURNSIGNALS AND STOP LAMP OK.ALL FUSES OK.BATTERY FULLY CHARGED.DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HEADLAMPS AND IGNITION INOPERATIVE.
 YOUR ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Hi Patrick...

I am 99% sure that the problem is the starter button switch located on the right handlebar. This switch is designed to kill the headlights when ever the starter is activated. They are notorious for going bad. Replace the starter button and you'll be back to normal!!
