Question
how do you remove a starter from a 1997 Dyna wide glide?

Answer
First disconnect the battery. To remove the stater you will have to remove the primary cover, motor spocket, chain, and clutch basket. then you remove the jackshaft from behind the clutch basket. Go to the starter and remove the two bolts holding it and slide it out.
