Motorcycle Repair: putting in my engine, yamaha maxim, bike frame

Question
I have a 1982 Yamaha maxim xj650j i took the engine out that was hard but i got it out and now I'm replacing it with another. It is IMPOSSIBLE...to get that motor in there i have tried putting wood underneath moving bending using floor jacks lifting pushing wiggling I've done everything it seems it needs to go in perfectly straight and level and that's it.I have no special tools like a engine hoist is there any special trick cause this is just a joke i was doing this for 3 hours it ain't happening.

Answer
Old trick is to lay some old tires flat on the ground and lay the engine upright on some wood between the tires. Then lift the bike frame and slide it flat over the engine, resting it on the old tires. Sometimes its easier to move the bike frame around and keep the engine put.
