Motorcycle Repair: cb250n valve clearances, superdream, valve clearances

i`ve got an old superdream thats been stood for a few years, got it running, terrable noises from the rockers, set them all to 002" clearence, start it up and they get noisier, check the clearances and they`ve changed, i`ve changed one rocker because it was worn right down and burnt, i know i`ve set them right and tightend them tight enough, i don`t know what to do! thanks

it sound like to me your have bad rocker arm nuts try re-setting them them put lockti on eah one so they dont back out that is what is causing the valve clearence change they are not holding there setting becuase the nuts are coming loose on the rockers . try this and let me know ok im here for you well get you going ok.
