Motorcycle Repair: will crank but not fire, test light, answer check

Question
QUESTION: I rode the bike yesterday and all was well, parked over night and the next
morning would not fire. I thought I had flooded it but, after I did all my tricks it
still wouldn't fire. It cranks strong. I pulled the plug and grounded it and there
is no spark. I checked the switch and it seems to be functioning normal along
with the kill switch.

ANSWER: What year and model?

QUESTION: I checked all three leads and it doesn't seem like there is power in any one of
them.

Answer
You dont have any power to the coil. With a test light, follow the hot wire from the coil to the on/off switch. Check the switch. You should have a hot side and the other side gets hot when you click the switch. then follow it back to the ignition switch
Good luck and happy riding
