jack the bike up and put it in high gear and remove the spark plugs. Rotate the motor so the front exhaust lifter is at its lowest point. Adjust the pushrod so its tight and then go a few more turns. Now you have to wait about 15 minutes, so the lifter can bleed down. Now check it by rotating it between your fingers. If its loose then tighten it again. Keep doing this until it will not rotate anymore. Then turn it until it gets loose and then another 1/2 to 3/4 turns. Do this for each pushrod
