Motorcycle Repair: honda aero turn signal, signal functions, simpleton

Question
My 2006 aero pops fuses when the right turn signal is applied. Tht right rear bulb tested good but did not light up. The left signal functions ok.

Deb, I hate to sound like a simpleton but you have a short in that circuit.  The fact that the rear light doesn't work would indicate to me to start looking back there first.  It's possible has some wires plugged together wrong or that a wire is pinched under a bolt or under the seat mount somewhere.  I'm afraid there's no easy way to tell you how to find it other than tell you what to look for.  If you get into it and can't find it, e-mail me back and I'll see if I can't give you better instructions.
