Motorcycle Repair: carb adjust, air fuel mixture, air fuel mixture screw

I bought a used 2000R6 that has sat for a long time.Naturally the carbs needed cleaning. I did this, and installed new needle and seat in all 4.Now the engine stumbles when throttle burped, then clears up. Sounds like too much fuel entering the carb. Do you know what the float level should be set to, and the air/fuel mixture screw setting turns out from stop.

hello bob,

usually the float goes on the second notch and i usually turn the needlevalve all the way in then i back it up about 1 1/2 rounds are untill i feel satisfied.I hope that i have help you some if you need more info let me know.
