Motorcycle Repair: Honda Sabre Battery issue, honda sabre, night bike

Honda Sabre 2002 1100. runs out of battery within 3 days. replaced battery 4 months ago. after 2 months battery failed took it back under warranty as they said battery was bad. now the replacement has also run out of charge.
after you charge the battery over night bike starts and runs fine for 2+ days then next time you go to start lights dim and starter clicks.
recharged battery and started bike. took negative off battery and bike continued to run but head light flickered. reved medium to hard and head light got steady.
any ideas?

hello laurie,
i know exactly what yur talking about you have a bad rectifier, or alternator . You see when the battery is charged fully you are running just off of that powwer sourc that keeps yur plugs firing to burn the gas in the cylinders making the bike run but a charged battery is only good for so long unless you have a chartging system to to keep up with it.I hope i have been helpfull.
