Motorcycle Repair: speedometer on 1999 sportster, digital speedometer, tranny fluid

Question
Once in a while my digital speedometer registers about 20 mph under what it should be. Any simple cures? Also how do I change the tranny fluid on my 1200?

You would have to take the speedo in to ahve it checked with a meter.
The tranny and primary are the same. there is a drain below the primary cover. remove it to drain. refill with sporttrans fluid or fluid that is comperable to it. You put in 32 ozs
