Motorcycle Repair: i have a ? about the brakes on my 1983 honda atc three wheeler, honda atc, pivot shaft

okay my braes dont even engage likre they shud  and i dont know how to repair
them do yout hink that you can help me

There's only two places to look.  First, when you pull the lever or step on the brakes does the brakearm down at the brakes move?  If not, are the cable frozen in the sheath?  Second, try moving the brake lever down at the brakes and see if you can move them by hand.  If not, you need to take the brakes apart and remove the pivot shaft so you can clean the rust and dirt out of it.  It should work fine after that.
