Motorcycle Repair: wireing, high beams, wireing diagram

I have a 88 1200 sportster and it has a Ultima wireing system, I cant get my high beams to come on and do not have the wireing diagram, can you help, I cant figure out what wire is to the headlight

I am not familer with the Ultima wiring, so I dont know if its color coded like stock.
Check the high/low switch. There should be 3 wires. One hot, one to the low beam and one to the high beam. Toggle the switch to low. That wire should be hot. If you are not getting power to the high beam the other wire should not be hot when you toggle the switch to high. That would be the wire you are looking for
