Motorcycle Repair: shifting gears, clutch adjustment, shifting gears

Question
Hi Mike,I have a 94 Dyna Wide Glide. It has 5,000 mi on a totally rebuilt engine. And also a 5,000 mi on a new 6 speed Baker transmission.I have trouble shifting gears from 3rd to 4th.I was told that this may be fixed by a simple clutch
adjustment.Or an adjustment behind the inner primary cover on the transmission,or a bent fork in the transmission.Em I on the right track? All fluids have been maintained.
P.S.You were right about my question on my 2005 Roadglide starter problem. We had to replace the starter and the bike is now reliable. You made me a believer.Thanx for your help Mike.

Answer
Its probably not your clutch or it would be tough to shift in all gears. I would first would adjust the shifter on the trans to make sure its centered. If that doesnt solve the problem then you will have to remove the top cover of the trans and inspect the shifter drum and shifter forks
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
