Motorcycle Repair: 1975 honda ct-90, honda ct, leaded gas

hi, i just bought a 1974 honda ct-90 in great shape, was the bike made to  run on leaded gas and if so is there a additive , and how much do i add, i will be putting in about 1.25 gallon at a time. thanks for you time. ron

I wouldn't worry about it, if I were you.  The leaded gas lubricates the valves and valve seats so your valves may require adjustment a little more often.  I'd guess you won't put enough miles on the bike to realize any significant difference in wear.  Cars went to unleaded gas in 74 and the bikes had to live with the same fuel back then.
