Motorcycle Repair: 1974 HONDA CB750K, honda motorcycle, sohc4


Question
I HAVE A 74 HONDA CB750K THAT WAS IN STORAGE. I JUST GOT IT OUT RECENTLY AND IT HAD A DEAD BATTERY SO I JUMPED IT OFF AND IT WAS SPITTING AND SPUTTERING. I THOUGHT THE CARBS NEEDED CLEANED SO WENT TO THE PARTS STORE CAME BACK AND CLEANED CARBS AND REPLACED BATTERY NOW I AM NOT GETTING ANY POWER TO THE BIKE. THERE IS NO LIGHTS, HORN, NOTHING LIKE I DON'T EVEN HAVE A BATTERY IN IT. HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME

You have a bank of fuses next to the battery box on the left side. Check all of them for damage. Use a 12v test light and start at the battery, test the fuses, go to the ignition switch and check the power going in and out. Check all wiring connectors AND the ground path connections.
