Motorcycle Repair: 85 honda shadow vt 700c, jp cycles, market signals

Hi i have a 85 honda vt700c the turn signals are broken and i want to replace it with after market turn signals but the thing is my front signals have three wires and the ones i want from jp cycles have only two wires the add says they are replacements for original. everything else looks like it will fit fine exept the two wires verses three. will the after market signals work or no?

Clifford, the front turn signals had both running lights and turnsignal and that's why there were two wires plus the green ground wire.  The blue and white or orange and white wires are teh running lights.  The replacements you describe only have the turnsignal function.  They will fit and work fine but you won't have running lights anymore.  I've occasionally had success switching the bulb sockets between these two types but not 100% of the time.  Some of the aftermarket stuff is just enough different that I couldn't make it work easily.  There a bunch less expensive than the Honda replacements so it's always worth a try.
