Motorcycle Repair: 1975 honda cb550, honda cb550, stock exhaust

1975 different models, designations? Parts interchangeable with other year 550's?  Any good source for stock parts, stock exhaust?

Well, as I recall there was a CB550K and CB550F model. Most of the engine parts were interchangeable between the K and F but the tank exhaust, handlebars and body parts were obviously different. The camshafts may have had a different grind but you'd have to check the part numbers to be sure.  All of the CB550 years were the same.  Honda would make minor changes to parts for styling and to fix problems but 90% of the parts were common on all years.  

I don't know of a parts source other than searching the web.   I have a good set of carbs for a CB550K that I rebuild for someone and they never picked up but that's about it.
