Motorcycle Repair: How much noise?, trans fluid, screamin eagle

Question
I recently purchased a used 1993 Fat Boy w/13,000 mi. The dealer I bought it from gave me a 6000 mi warranty. I've already had to take it back to hime once because it was pouring trans fluid. His mechanic told me the seal had worked out. He repaired it without hesitation. Anyway, is it normal to have some valve noise on these 1340 motors? If so, how much? It has screamin eagle short shots. I've also noticed that the exhaust from the lower pipe, from the front cyl is a good bit hotter that the exhaust from the rear cyl, when idling in the driveway. It does seem to equal out when rpm's are increased. I used to have a metric bike. I'm I just paranoid?

Answer
All lifters make some noise. Because harley lifters are on the outside of the motor you hear it more. the ticking you hear doesn hurt anything, its just annoying.
Dont worry about the heat, heat will build up on the motor if its just sitting there. there is no air flowing over the motor.
Good luck and happy riding
