Motorcycle Repair: 1916 harley- fully restored, thanks alot, excellent condition

My brother in law has a 1916 Harley that has been fully restored. We are interested in buying it from him- but have no idea of how to even begin to estimate the value of a bike like that. Can you give me any direction? Thanks!

Alot depends on the restoration. If all the parts are orgional it will be worth more. You never said what model the bike is. A single in excellent condition is worth around 37,000 and a twin is worth around 50,000 by the NADA book
