Motorcycle Repair: 97 Honda cbr600f3 fuel pump, honda cbr600f3, starter solenoid

Question
I recently bought a Honda bike and I can't get it started. I have looked at the fuel pump and the gas tank because there are some tubes that are loose from each of them that weren't loose before. I have a manual but it doesn't tell me where they should go. The bike was turning but now I don't have anything. I also have to changed the left clip on with the ignition switch because it was damaged. I have changed the sparks and the battery has been tested and it is fine. Could it also have something to do with the CDI box? I was told that it could just be a short in the wires because the ignition fuse keeps blowing. Do you know of any other manuals that I could get or know the the reason that I can't get it to start. Any help would be great.

Answer
Sierra,

most all manuals will have the hose routing
listed. It may be in the first chapter
or two.
There are too many hoses for me to accurately
describe where they all go. Maybe the Honda dealer
would print you out a diagram?

Make sure your fuel pump is connected
to the fuel tank with a filter inline.
The other end goes to feed the carbs.

Do you have a good spark to the plugs?
Are the carbs clean?
If the engine doesn't turn over at all
make sure the battery and all fuses are good.
Can you hear the starter or starter
solenoid operate? Check for any loose
connectors or wires rubbed through.

The fuel pump usually makes a clicking
sound and then stops when you turn on the
key.

If you have spark, try some wd40 or
carb cleaner in the carb mouths,
see if it will fire on that.

You need spark, fuel and compression
to get it running.

If you have no spark, check the side stand switch.
