im trying to put my bike back together, and cant remember how to wire the generator. where does the two wires go from the generator?

Dusty,

-the Field wire (green?) or "F" terminal on
the generator goes to "F" on the regulator.

-the "A" wire (green/yellow?)
on the generator goes to "GEN" on the regulator.

-the regulator will also have a "BAT"
or battery terminal.

Usually "GEN" is the middle terminal on
the regulator with "BAT" on left end and
"F" or field on the right.

You may need to "polarize" the generator
so it will charge by quickly
touching the positive battery post
to the "A" post on the generator.

-Use a jumper wire and quickly
just brush the "A" or "GEN" terminal.
NOTE: Do NOT touch the "F" post this way at all.
