Motorcycle Repair: 1982 FXRS, eagle race, screamin eagle

Question
QUESTION: My 82 FXRS keeps loosening the front inner primary bolts and just recently wallered out the two bolts inside the inner primary that mount to the engine.  I have replaced the motor/transmission mount at least twice for breakage.  The inner primary /motor/transmission are aligned but this still keeps happening.  I am ordering a neopryne rubber mount for the front which is much stiffer than OEM.  What can I do to eliminate the flex between the transmission and the motor, which I and the mechanic think is what is working the bolts.  the current mount is now 3/8th steel plate rather than aluminum... broke two of those.

ANSWER: check this out,
This is EXACTLY what you need, called the Screamin' eagle race brace...
"Product Info:
Harley Davidson Accessory Item Screamin Eagle Race Brace Supports Part No. 66693-98 marketed for FXR models (1984 through 1994); Part No. 66680-98 marketed for FXD models (1991 through 1998 - all equipped with mid-vehicle rear brake controls); Part Nos 66"

Hope this helps!

QUESTION: There is a torque plate on the opposite side from the inner primary that Pete made a while back, and it keeps the engine from wobbling from side to side... Pete (Hill) thinks it is the up and down that is causing the flex.. will this part help with the see-saw that we think is occuring?  Also, Pete suggests we change the transmission case to one of the later models that bolt directly to the engine and eliminate the H-mount altogether.  Will the 5-speed transmission case for say a 1990 FXR fit in my frame and bolt up to the shovel?

Answer
I dont think it will thus the creation of the race brace was made, maybe the holes are washed out in the one you have allowing this see-saw action to happen? Take a close look at all of the mounting hardware holding the motor and trans in, if anything is washed out or worn, id replace it to eliminate any chance for play...
