Motorcycle Repair: reserection, carburetor rebuild kit, twenty one years

Question
I have a 74 sportster with 19,900 original miles it was parked for twenty one years and I want to bring it back to good running condition. I have removed the tank and carburetor.
What is the best solvent to clean the tank.?
Where do I get a carburetor rebuild kit?
Should I rotate the engine with oil in the cylinders?
I am a fair mechanic on a car, but new to MC's

Answer
A bike sitting that long probably has rust on the cylinder walls as well as rusty bearings. the problem is even if youo get it running, it will probaby smoke and a bearing will go out. The best suggestion is to rebuild the motor so you dont have any problems.
I would flush the fuel tank with gas to get the junk out. If its rusty, then you need to seal it or it will just keep rusting.
Anyone that sells V-twin manufacturing products can get you a carb rebuild kit
Good luck and happy riding
