Motorcycle Repair: 04 Clutch adj, allen bolt, clutch lever

Would you please tell me the procedure for adjusting the clutch on my 2004 FLHTCUI

Answer
Loosen the cable so there is some slack in it. With the bike sitting upright, remov ethe derby cover. In the center of the clutch you will see a allen bolt with a nut. Loosen the nut and turn the allen head bolt outward. Now slowly turn it inward, just until it bottoms out and then back about 1/8 of a turn. Tighten the nut and put the derboy cover back on. Now go to the cable and adjut it so there is about 1/8 inch play in the clutch lever.
